This final concert of Kevin’s residency will be a first for the Strathmore AIR program: a concert featuring only unaccompanied voices! For this show, Kevin has created an all-new acappella ensemble featuring six of the region’s best vocalists, with the goal of showcasing the intersection between folk and art music. These versatile singers tackle repertoire ranging from Irish sean-nos solo songs and Renaissance polyphony to Kevin’s ground-breaking choral settings of traditional ballads.
